Robert Chappell
“The hardest thing of all to see is what is really there.” ~ J.A. Baker.
Robert is an artist inspired by birds, the landscape, the changing of the seasons, and the weather. He believes that there is always something beyond us, and in his drawings and paintings, he seeks to communicate something of that vision. Having worked as an architect for many years, Rob credits the rigour of observation demanded by the profession as an influence on his transition to becoming an artist. He works exclusively in watercolour, valuing its immediacy, though acknowledging its challenge as mistakes are difficult to amend.

Her paintings are full of color, contrasts, and textures, building up layers using a range of media, including acrylics, inks, and oils. She works mainly in acrylic, but also uses charcoal and pastel for their spontaneity, especially in life drawing and portraiture. She was pleased to take part in the town seal project, with her painted seal now on display by the riverside. Her work is bold, expressive, and full of character.
Emily Chuter
A resident of the Wye Valley for over a decade and originally from Gloucestershire, Emily Chuter is an artist whose work is as eclectic as her ever-evolving fascinations. From expressive animal studies to swift landscape sketches, she seeks to capture the moments that bring her joy but always finds herself drawn back to the human form.
A firm believer that art should be accessible to all, Emily advocates for creativity in all its forms—whether to enjoy, participate in, own, create, or admire—free from judgment of means or method. She feels incredibly fortunate to pursue her passion, having exhibited in various events across the South West. She remains in awe of the vibrant and diverse artistic community that surrounds her, continually inspired by its energy and talent.
Grant Poole-Adams
Grant is an abstract artist who takes inspiration from street art, music, and graphic design. His work is also available in the French Riviera, near Monaco.
Andy Walker
Andy became a professional artist in 2017 after exhibiting at the Saatchi Gallery in London and now displays work widely at art fairs and exhibitions throughout the UK. The portfolio primarily comprises landscapes, seascapes, and cityscapes. These vibrant scenes appear photorealistic from a distance, but closer inspection reveals a wild abstraction formed from intensely coloured triangles. Working with a stylus and tablet allows access to a vast colour palette and the opportunity for intricate detail. After extensive photo studies and careful observation of the landscape’s textures and colours, each piece is composed as an intricate mosaic made up of thousands of triangles.
